Supposed to be off for a short festive break in SFO tomorrow - not looking very promising at the moment; although the flight isnt showing as cancelled its not available for OLCI & since Im booked on a G I'm expecting to be bumped.

Would be nice to know one way or the other though, the suspense is killing !

Going to have to stomp down thru the snow to the chippie to take my mind off it.

If you do have a confirmed ticket on your flight and it operates, there's no reason why you should get bumped. Fare type does not come into it.

It's always the airlines policy to allow ticketed/confirmed pax to fly if the flight is operating. These pax always get priority over any other stranded/delayed pax.

This is the reason why VS (and other airlines) are not currently allowing re-booking for the next week or so.

Good luck and I do hope you manage to fly tomorrow. The VS19 does look to be operating today so fingers crossed.

I guess the main reason why so many VS flights are cancelled today is because A/C are in the wrong place as there's still at least 15 VS A/C at the wrong airports in both the UK and Europe.

Thanks for that - at some point in the night OLCI opened so Im now checked in & have printed the boarding price (Seq 60) - now all I need to do is get to the airport..

Wish me luck !

and greetings from the clubhouse where I have my mojito and Im waiting for breakfast.

Less traffic around Heathrow than normal - big & rather bad tempered queue outside T3 waiting to get into the terminal but once inside its fine. No obvious snow on the runways but what do I know.
