Just got this..

Dear Mr Bergman,

I am writing with regards to the British Airways flight you are taking over the next few days that is departing from or arriving into London Heathrow.

As a valued member of the British Airways Executive Club, I would like to make you aware of the current problems we are experiencing with our onboard catering due to unofficial industrial action by workers at our Heathrow catering supplier, Gate Gourmet.

Currently, the only catering available on-board our Heathrow short-haul flights is tea and coffee.

For our Club Europe customers, at London Heathrow, we have introduced premium deli-boxes, which are available in the Terraces lounges for you to collect and take on-board. In addition you will also be able to collect a catering voucher from check-in, the customer service desk or in the lounge.

For flights to Heathrow, a deli-bag or a catering voucher for use in the terminal is available for you to collect prior to boarding.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this situation may cause you and would like to assure you that we are doing all possible to return to the high service standards you have come to expect from us.

Once again thank you for your cooperation at this difficult time.

Yours sincerely,

I bet those premium deli boxes are all sandwiches which I cannot eat due to the wheat allergy! [:(].

And no drink service onboard? No champagne! I am going to arrive in Stockholm dry!

Cheers
Artur

Valued customer of the dark-side eh?;)

I flew on BA from HEL the other day without catering and recieved pringles, muffin, two biscuits and a banana. And some vouchers.

I only switched to VS this spring! And in my defence there is no alternative I can take!

Also the 250 GBP business fare is pretty good :).

I'll let you off...this time!;):D[:p]

Once in a while we all have to take a trip on BA, particularly on those "puddle-jumpers" to the continent and places not served by VS (yes there is life beyond UC;))!

Anyhoo, back to the topic. Inflation in the world of Exec Club must really be going up what with all the miles being given out in the past couple of weeks! Hehe:D

3 of us travelling, 3 separate BA silver accounts,3 separate letters of complaint, but all the miles go into the same household account.Probably end up with 1k each:D
