Hi again. We have gained esta for both of us. Bit do we need a visa too? Also we have printed off our esta forms but it says we don't need them. Is this true? Not having been to the us before it's a tad confusing lol

You only need a visa if you have a criminal record, or are refused an ESTA (there are many other reasons you might need one, but just for a holiday these are the main ones).

You don't need to take your ESTA with you, but it won't harm, when they immigration officer scans your passport it will show you have an approved ESTA.

It is an electronic system so no paperwork needed.

It is not a visa. All it means is that VS will let you on the plane as you have been pre-screened by the US Authorities (checked against the watch lists etc). It will still be up to the immigration agent whether or not to actually let you into the USA.

You will also need to complete APIS which you will find as part of 'manage your bookings'.

you have to laugh at the questions -who's going to say yes. Oh sorry MR Hitler you did ?

One point -if you have had a D&D conviction you need a visa, some people dont consider it a CIMT
