American airlines connections from JFK

Hello!

So I wanted to fly jet blue or VA but none of the timings worked so I'm stuck with AA! 6 hours JFK to LAS.

I'm flying into JFK on VS045 with plenty of time before my connection to LAS.

Anyone done the transfer from VS to AA, any tips? Advice?

I have done it the other way round and transferred from AA to VS.

Even carting bags using Air Tran is the simplist way. The AA Terminal is new and has plenty of places to eat

Great - thanks Buns! Is it far from terminal 4 to the AA terminal? What's the approx. transfer time?

Terminal 4 to the AA terminal should be about 10 minutes on the AirTrain.
