what's your favourite area of the Heathrow Clubhouse, where do you normally make a bee-line for?

first couple of times in i used to sit down in the lounge in the big green armchairs but more recently i've just sat in the main lounge area in front of the bar as its been pretty busy. i've never been up to the sky lounge so i must remember to go take a look up there on sunday - hopefully being on an early flight (12.30) it might be quieter

My favourite part is the Gallery (old Fumoir) behind the bar, always go there first.

I do like to move around a lot and always take a trip to the roof garden, whatever the weather.

Gallery for me too !

Skylounge always seams to get NO staff serving there. Maybe its an elf and safety issue for them? lol

Used to be the Cowshed (before the appointment system changed) and then Gallery for the first glass of champagne, then the bar to pick up the second and a walk around to make sure all is well in CH land.

I've yet to actually see any pax up in the Skylounge, let alone staff :D .
Last Saturday (when I was last in the CH) there was no-one up there at all (apart from myself that is as I went up to have a wander around the roof garden) and before that during my last visit (May 2010 before the VS200 to HKG/SYD)it was a similar story.

First stop is always the Cowshed to book a massage. Then for seating, I'm a gallery lover like so many others here. Its a bit more peaceful than the main areas, but sometimes I have to wave to the waiters/waitresses to get served.

If I'm in a rush the bar seems to work best :D

IME it is the busiest time of the week. Loads of business / conference types (J and W/Y Gold) heading to the USA for a few days of death by powerpoint - and yes over the years I have been a very frequent Sunday Morning visitor trying to find that illusive seat to have a pre-flight Earl Grey.

I'm looking forward to ma first trip to the LHR clubhouse on May when I head off to New York. Rather excited, i liked the Gatwick Clubhouse when I was there last year. too but the LHR one I'm sure will be great :-) And wots with the roof garden? You can go outside? Is that like for smokers or somethings?

The roof garden is a patio, planters, a few chairs and tables and a fence. Smoking is a big no no, this is why it was "shut" for a few months about a year ago. It's nice to go watch the planes move about and get some Kerosene fresh air.

ah Ok, will be nice to be able to pop outside once through security and have a look see :-) and at least won't see ppl smoking whilst on the patio :-)

Gallery for me as a first stop.
Cowshed after that and then a seat at the bar.
Never managed to be there when the roof garden is open :(
