Well, after an enforced extra stay of almost 24hrs due to the snow storm that engulfed the eastern US coast the DL clan are safely camped in the JFK Clubhouse.
Lets hope the return flight is as good as the outward journey...
Time will tell......

Hope the DL clan enjoy - lots of disruption yesterday including the VS22 cancelled ... I arrived in DC, then had an 11 hour car journey to my hotel arriving at 4 am.

It was mayhem. Apocalyptical!

Wht do you think? :o) :o)

She was offered a bargainous upgrade to PE a week or so ago, which she took avidly, but quietly also upped herself to UC a few days ago.......
NYC was rapidly getting back to normal despite a fairly hefty accumulation of snow overnight, puts us to shame in the UK where an inch of snow causes utter bedlam...... :(

Nightmare!
We were very lucky to (eventually) be able to stay in the same hotel as we had been at prior to our initial check-out, so our outright disruption was minimal really.....
Your journey sounds horrendous, hope it all worked out OK....

It appears that DL has been very naughty and has remained logged-on my laptop for my last 2 posts.
I declare that I am the true author of the above 2 posts, lest it causes any confusion..e..... :D :D

Yes because the wifi is so dire in here :(! :(! (I'm on the stand alone's at the mo).
Just for the record I moved DB and I to PE before Christmas and managed to move me (for the return journey) to the front two weeks ago. They still want silly money to move DB to UC today so looks like she'll stay in PE ( no douby she'll be quietly relieved).
DL
PS Tonty my wellies are lovely :D :D

Well I guessed the one in which you said "What do you think" was posted by you when you then went on to say "She..."

I wanted to ask you "Who's she? The cat's mother?" :D

No, SHE (DL the Elder ) is the one currently drinking lots of fizz (and then bemoaning how she can't travel in Y any more LOL).

The SHE Nessy referred to was not quaffing fizz in the CH but was upping herself to PE and then to UC. That to me sounds like DL rather than DL the Elder

@Nessy - yes, I agree that she is the cat's whiskers when it comes to travel matters but I still stand by my remark :D
