Booked three flights so far this year, two to IAD and one to LAX all in PE.

Company policy is cheapest ticket in PE and so far each ticket has been K class :(! :(! :(!

No upgrades!

I've been flying with Virgin for 10+ years and this is the first year with so many low bucket fares.

Next trip to book is in April to Vegas and so far it's looking like K again.

Oh well ?| ?|

Are you actually complaining that there are too many "cheap" fares.. ?|

Have you not priced up changing to an S out of your own pocket, then you can use your own miles to UG..?
Depends on what value you see in spending that difference...

If your company use a "approved travel company" to do the bookings, get a direct VS quote yourself, it maybe cheaper then allow some discussion...?

For prices, we get three quotes. 1. From a travel agent, 2. A negotiated rate from Virgin and finally the published fare i.e. what you see on the website.

The problem is really the fare bucket and not the price. In previous years I would always end up with the odd K ticket, but this year it's been four in a row and I wouldn't say the price always reflected the K ticket in value either.

The difference between the cheapest K and S has approached 1K at times, so I couldn't justify paying the difference myself.

That is unusual, the difference between K & S isn't usually that large. I know there has been the PE sale on, which will obviously knock the K price down and that might be why you are seeing such a big difference.
