There was a part of me that thought this was an email thanking us for our support during this time and an offer like an extra year of gold as your flying subsided to get you back in the air.etc. :|

Anyhow, on what the email REALLY was I was also disappointed, quite frankly the fact the email said nothing was a waste of my time to read. Could have been a good PR move, but hey lets get the airline developing its fleet, LGW refit, 333's.etc

However the communication from SR to Flying Club is a first step, but needs some development and some NEWS!

It was quite laughable reading the Email,Do they think we are idiots,Its about time Virgin got more positive and reinstated some of the routes they have dropped, and give the FC members a better deal on discounts.

Bill_S makes a good point - nice to get an email from SR.

I just wish it had more concrete information/news........like a household account so that my daughter's flights gain the same loyalty recognition as mine and the better half's.....becoming a bone of contention for me, that one.

Without wanting to keep droning on about this... C'Rip you and us both..!An absolute disgrace for frequent fliers who don't reach Gold for the money we pay on the kids seats.
I think the more pressure is put on this issue the better...Have you written to VS specifically about this, we have, and think the more that do the better..VS seem to be able to match BA's prices to the penny and visa-versa, shame this issue can't be done as well..Gold or nothing is a lame arguement.

Nh - actually I hadn't, but will make good on that...like you, don't want to drone on, but it is becoming irksome.

So, Mr Ridgeway, how's about writing to us to explain your position on this?
