Hi all,

I logged in to my booking on virgin Atlantic today to find out that our flight time has changed from Man to Las Vegas. We Fly out on the 28th of April in Premium Economy and although the seat map has not changed, the aircraft type is no longer showing as a Boeing 747-400. Can anyone advise if it will still be a Boeing 747-400 of if it will be different? Also could someone check the load for me please?

Flight number is VS085 on the outward leg.

Kind Regards,

David

Hi Honey Lamb,

Thanks for looking at this for me. Virgin does not show the new flight times on there bookings. I tried myself and it still shows the old time of 13:15 when its now 12:15 etc.

Ill keep an eye on this

Kind Regards

I would keep an eye on this. I recently logged in to one of my flights for March, the booking had a message displayed at the top stating the flight times had changed, however, they hadn't and in fact it was just a seating plan change.

I'm not sure if anyone on here knows, but does the Virgin system only allow them to display 1 standard message that "flight times have changed" for all amendments as opposed to specific changes i.e. aircraft type?

The VS website is a bit pants... (what happened to the plans for a new one?)

I have never had a message online about a seating plan change, just a phone call advising me of such and that I have been allocated my preferred seat for the config.

I have had messages online for time changes, and they have changed the time, maybe someone pressed the wrong button for your flight enyce085?

David22294, where is it showing that it's not a 747? In the past I have seen examples of my booking showing one config, and when trying to make a new booking, for the same flight, it showing a different one. But the config in the booking has been correct in my experience.

Perhaps or maybe it's a new feature?

It had a large purple box at the top of the screen and then under each individual flight there was an "Accept Changes" tickbox. The flight times were identical but I had noticed the aircraft had changed.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was and just haven't put an individual message!
