We booked UC flights to USA in the recent sale via the Quidco cashback site. The transaction appeared within a couple of hours as tracked on my quidco account.
Today this transaction has been declined by VS. No reason given.
I have submitted an earnings enquiry via Quidco, but i'm interested in if any body else has faced this situation.

I'm disappointed with VS, as I consider myself a loyal customer. I am a leisure customer that has always (only) flown VS since our first foreign holiday in 1993.

Are VS that hard up that they have declined £61 cashback on flights costing £3800+?.

Tim.

Depends. If you visited the Virgin website earlier and the cache wasn't emptied, Virgin may not recognise the referral from Quidco as unique.

Similarly if you clicked on a link from V-Flyer or another Virgin ad on another website, it may have tracked from there instead.

My last VS transaction worked OK through Quidco. That was also an Upper sale fare booked late last year. It tracked after about 24 hours and was paid about 4 weeks later.

If it tracked OK initially then I'd raise a ticket with Quidco.

Bought tickets in December, payment validated in early January.

I've given up with Quidco! I had great success with them to start with and made over £250 in cashback, however, ended up having a similar issue to you Tim with it tracking but later declining.

When I've filed an earnings enquiry, they have always come back and said that I hadn't cleared my cookies so whilst it tracked it did not track the right visit!

Mine was only £10 from blockbuster or something and Quidco refused to refer to Blockbuster to check, even though I had proof I had used the service and it had tracked.

Good luck with it!

It would cost me a lot of money to give up Quidco - over £500 a year. Very occasionally there is a problem - but it is sorted, if slowly.

The only regret I have is that since starting with Quidco, Pete does not get the payback from VS when I book direct.

I ordered 2 batches on the 14th. One got validated, the other got declined. Both tracked ok. Raised a query on the declines one now. thanks for the headsup
