I think it is supposed to let people know that even with the YQ fuel surcharge increase, they have dropped the sale prices back to what they were before.
Yes, an email saying precisely nothing!

Are you sure Ed? I think PVG was £997-£1007 before this week now it's about £20 more in PE.

It seems that they have only adjusted the Economy sale fare prices which is what they presumable advertise the most in print rather than online which is changeable more quickly.

We have also just had an update in which they have changed the PE YQ fuel surcharge for all USA destinations. I was posting numbers but then realised this is effective from tomorrow so can't say now.

I have no idea what is going on any more and I think VS must be losing the plot a little

If we get confused can just hop over to BA site, as they'll be the same prices ): and in theory the surcharges should all be the same... :0

LOL I love this. Use the BA site to check pricing before booking your VS flight.

Nice chuckle for a Friday afternoon... ^) ^) ^)

Yes got both emails! It is getting annoying..

The other emails that are annoying are the ones informing that you have earned an upgrade to PE, can't they do a bit more customer profiling? I have never used miles to upgrade to PE, (nor flown PE) Again same with the Econ sale/miles sale emails, no use to me.

Easy solution.

Log into your Flying Club account > 'Manage your account' > "Your communication preferences' and check/uncheck the appropriate boxes. Or click on the 'Unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the email.

Hey Presto, no more emails.
