We went into Gate 22, and sat there for a while before boarding our Boeing 777-200 flight to Birmingham as EK039.
I was hoping for a window seat, which I didn't get at all on those 4 flights (my brother took them all), and we ended up sitting in the middle. On the PTV, I put on the airshow, as I didn't have any interest in particular movies at that age, I was 8 at the time.
The meal was pretty good, got to have roasted potatoes for the first time!
Descend into Birmingham, I watched all of it with the forward camera on. Approaching RWY 33 seemed a bit unsteady but we made a smooth landing back on time, 12:25 when scheduled to be 12:20, but close enough.
