And thank you Expedia.

Earlier this year I booked flights on VS19/20 for July via Expedia (It was one of those ex-Europe flights that saved me a bomb! :D ) This evening I got a couple of emails from Expedia, the title line of which were in French! Hmmm! Interesting! Didn't realise that French was an official language of the Irish Republic :o)

Sorry I digress. VS19 has been put back till 13:00 with an arrival time of 15:50 which of course impacts on the flight times of VS20. That has been changed to a departure of 19:05pm with an arrival time of 13:15 the following day. The worst part of that is that means no Revivals v( v( v(

Fortunately I have made no other flight arrangements which is just as well as there is no way I would have made my flight to ORK at 14:00. The bummer is that the next flight is now megabucks :(!

I'm also a bit disappointed that Expedia haven't changed my earlier flight to LHR to connect with VS19 but at least there is always the Clubhouse :D

I am booked on these flights in April and they have been affected too. Not had any emails yet (booked direct with VS) but by chance looked in MMB and I had to acknowledge the new flight times. As you say, longer in the clubhouse and more time in SFO, but shame no Revivals.

Usually this kind of time change would be connected to equipment movements, around when planes are expected to be available in LHR either at departure or return times. While the loss of revivals as a result is unfortunate, historically these sorts of timings would have been MUCH better for me, as they would have made connections far easier leaving London, and even a bit easier from London.

Most unfortunate about the cost of your connection, HL, perhaps we can alleviate by having a good old liquid lunch before your departure :D

Go to the VS website, log in to your Flying Club a/c and then click on 'My Future Flights'.

We are flying in to SFO and hoping to catch the VX LAS flight which departs at 18.20 from SFO

Having only ever flown VX LAS to SFO I am concerned that we may not make this flight

Travelling in August, UC on both VS and VX

Thoughts appreciated :?

I booked a M+M flight for early July in UC to SFO and have only just found the flight times have changed through vflyer (long time lurker btw!).

No great damage done I suppose but lack of Revivals lounge really does suck. I wonder if they'll be offering the Freedom(?) service on VS20 now as it's later.

You'll get the freedom service in UC, but it's Good Night Flight (GNF) on the shorter East Coast and Dubai flights not the West Coast of the US.

Ah, yes, that's the badger. Couldn't remember the name. As the SFO clubhouse is pretty good it would be nice to eat there and just get some sleep on the aircraft for as long as possible.

Not that much of a new feature - i had something similar come up when they changed the time of the VS15 years ago.

Do you think the revised time will allow us good time to connect to the VX flight at 18.20 to LAS ... I believe they operate from the same terminal and I'm hoping there won't be a problem (that is, if the VS19 is on-time)

I have looked at the schedules for all of the flights, and all seem to change on the 27th March when British Summer time kicks in.The complete schedule for sf19 still shows 11.30 am.Virgin CS should know whats going on.
