New A333

I read recently that the internal emails circulating at Virgin said that the new A333 would be on service from today 22nd February from MAN to MCO! Did it arrive?

The handover from Airbus is not due for another few days. It will start service IIRC in April.

The first revenue flight isn't due to take place until April 2nd. IIRC Virgin were due to take delivery of the a/c at the end of Feb, so maybe that is what you have read.

Yes, I will miss the bubble (the later MAN - MCO flights arriving a little too late for our onward connection) BUT I am looking forward to the first TR from the 330 PE cabin and then trying it for myself next year.
