I know this is a little like Woody's question a couple of weeks ago but a little more budget I am afraid!

I have a 07:30 flight out of T3 to HEL on Tuesday morning and as I live in East London I think I am going to stay at the airport so I can sleep later and be as fresh as possible for an interview as soon as I land.

There are 3 hotels all at about £35 for the night and I was wondering which one people would recommend for quality and getting to T3 by half six.

Ibis and Travelodge Central are both on Bath Road and Ibis seems to be closer. Travelodge T5 is £5 cheaper but would be more hassle to get to T3.

Any advice very, VERY much appreciated! Thank you - Ed

IIRC, the Ibis was the Hotel used by V-Flyers for the first ever Social - best you don't mention V-Flyer if you stay there ):

Seriously, althought it was a few years back now, it was a place to rest your head but not much more

We've stayed at the Travelodge Heathrow Central a couple of times (when the rooms cost us £9). It's new which helps, it's your typical travelodge room but more than adequate for a few hours one night. Parking is £5.

Another vote for the travelodge central - stayed here last year, fine for 1 night, cheap parking and clean and tidy - only paid £20 odd so expectations weren't high.

Hmmm, can get FC points on Ibis as is part of Accor if booking online.

Might give it a go. Thank goodness I haven't ordered my luggage tags yet!

Would tend to agree, but having spent 2 weeks in the Staines Travelodge after a house fire last year they aren't all that bad..........certainly better than the flat we had for a couple of months once the insurance company had pulled their finger out!!!

I wonder how they managed with the hairdryer given the one that we stayed at for the PCP to Brussels had only one for the whole hotel! xx(
