So I am not going away for the next year on holiday due to a 1000 things going on... :( ... but I know by the end of that year I will have over 1m miles in my VS Account and while I know you guys will probably hate this idea I am already planning what to do with them. Can I convert the lot into VH Vouchers?

I understand that 20,000 miles equates to £100 voucher so I assume 1m would equate to £5K in VH Vouchers. I assume if I was also to do this I wouldnt need to worry about G Availablity etc and that the Vouchers would cover the whole cost of the holiday including taxes.

Just wanted to check what is/isnt possible and as its getting more difficult to spend these miles with planning (as a lot of G availablity is short notice I find) perhaps it might be better for me to convert it to VH Vouchers for ease - although accepting its a poor rate of return.

Thanks!

Aside from the very poor return on the miles, which you have already alluded to, the only problem I can see is the fact the VH don't do flight only bookings AFAIK.

The way round it would be to either book a package, or book a fly/drive and don't pick up the car.

Thanks Nick, to be honest I would be happy to book the whole package with them if necessary - I know its a poor rate of return but its better than no rate.
