Hello, I have booked a flight with virgin via a tour operator (about 2 weeks ago). I have both the PNR reference and e-ticket number but when I try to go into the Manage My Booking page on the virgin website - it doesn't recognise me. I want to go in and enter API info and obviously when the time comes on-line check in. Any ideas why its not letting me would be most welcome. Thank you.

do you have a middle name?

It seams that some travel agent systems transfer these over as one field so 'John Henry Smith' gets transferred as 'Johnhenry Smith'

It has happned to be a couple of times using expedia and american express.

Usually when you book with a travel agent they don't pay VS for your flights at the time of booking. They would normally pay between 2-3 weeks before your first flight departs and after you have paid your balance in full! So until the flights have been paid for by the travel agent you will not have an e-ticket and so won't be able to use manage my booking.

It depends on your TA though and the agreements they have with VS.

A booking I made with Expedia for a VS flight was transfered very quickly to VS so I could see it in MBM and choose seats etc.

It depends on who the TA is and the package bought
