Evening,

I'm off to MCO on 27th March and have noticed that a lot of the recent trips have been non LGW aircraft.

Does anyone know whether this is going to continue upto my trip as it'd be great to have vport!

Keep up the good work.

You are correct, an LHR has unusually been operating one of the MCO flights recently.

The best way to check what a/c type is currently scheduled to operate your flight is to log on to the 'manage my booking' section on the VS site. The seat map on there will show the current config, but of course than is still open to change any time before the flight.

I've also noticed that VS27 has not been running every day. So are they combining VS15 & 27 because of the lack of numbers?

Still really hoping that VS27 on 24th March is a LHR aircraft as v:port would be quality.

Yes, we had Tubular Belle for the VS28 on Monday last week. VPort didn't work at all though (and hadn't for the outbound VS27 that day)! I wonder why they're using LHR planes? Is the LGW plane refit finally starting?

Yes but dependent on both outbound and in bound loads. sometimes better to run one full big plane than two partly filled smaller ones.

Dont forget LGW is now 1 x 747 down as G-VROM has gone to another airline so I guess a LHR 747 is replacing the missing 744.

Wasn't again working on G-VBIG in Upper on the 3rd, nothing at all on the A side of the cabin in the nose section and patchy on the K side (where I was sat) even after a reset, a maintenance reset and a complete system reboot.

VS 27 has been on a LHR a/c for a couple of weeks as there was an UC Fare sale which was very successful so they were able to fill the J config of 44 for a couple of weeks.
24th March is showing as a LGW config and is full so unlikely to change I'm afraid.

That makes so much sense to me now. Thanks. I was confused last week when the reservation agent at VS said that they have been using a LHR 747 "because of demand" but added that the VS27 on April 15th is due to be LGW config 1, meaning the PE is up in the bubble. We'll have to wait and see :?

Speaking purely from a personal angle, I'd prefer to be in PE upstairs even if it means I miss out on the purple seats and have to read a book 'coz the IFE is down again.
I just feel the upperstairs PE is quieter & more relaxing area.
