Good Evening from LHR Clubhouse

The lounge was fairly quiet when we arrived at 16:45 so booked a treatment at the Spa with no difficulty and had some Afternoon Tea. The A La Carte menu is different to the one on the site and now has the Confit of Duck, the Fish Pie and Bread and Butter Pudding back again.

Had the Cowshed treatment - excellent , the Belly Pork was excellent and now off to board the flight. So far the service has been really great from check in and through all areas of the lounge. The clubhouse is reaaly busy now but the flight is not very full so should be a good flight.

I was in the LHR Clubhouse last night (7th) at the same time as you - I was on the 200 to Hong Kong. Where were you sitting?

Love the menu - the chicken tikka and Banoffee trifle was fab!

When we were not in the restaurant and Cowshed we sat under the window near the office and library. We were on the VS400 to Dubai. Just about to have dinner at the Hilton Ras al Khaimah and will be in Dubai next week relaxing and visiting Art Dubai. Hope you have a good trip in Hong Kong. We may go there later this year.

'enyce085' - thanks, I've only just discovred v-flyer but if I ever find the time (3 times to Washington in February alone) then I'll send an update. Overall, I love Virgin, hate the A34-300s and enjoy time spent in the Clubhouse.......

Maybe we will see you in the Lounge - you can get access with Virgin Gold or Priority Pass. Sorry I can't invite you as there are already two of us and one Gold Card.
We are travelling economy on reward tickets from the 25,000 mile offer they had last year. Although this is our 8th visit to Dubai, this is our first experience of economy to Dubai and the outbound journey which we travelled last Monday was very good with the plane only half full.
If we can be of any help to you with your Dubai trip just let us know.

Daffodil, I wont see you in the lounge as my gold card ran out in December :# But no worries as although I am flying out alone I am travelling back with the friend I am going to visit in Dubai.

I will PM you with my seat number and we can say hi on board as it is always good to meet v flyers
