Great news (in my opinion), as JetBlue are supposed to be an excellent carrier in the domestic US market.

This should allow VS customer much greater flexibility when connecting through JFK, Boston, Washington and Orlando.

I'm a more recent convert to Jet Blue and yes it is fantastic. Good news - but odd that it pitches Jet Blue against Virgin America for transcons out of JFK, BOS, and IAD. That said, why would you really want to connect to SFO say through JFK when you can fly direct, so they presumably see no problem.

One downer though - no FC miles earning I hear, can that be right?

Now I was a happy little soul until I read that comment from slinky09 especially as we're using Jet Blue in April flying from Tampa to Boston, before we fly back to uk with VS.
I also missed out on FC miles when using Virgin America last year before they changed that rule :(!
