That's the offer from Delta Airlines... surely tempting to all our Boston fans? ):

Delta's Business Elite includes flat beds on selected flights (which their website identifies) and other BusinessElite loveliness (it says here)

EDITED: Netflights are doing same flights but £60 cheaper!!

Is this the same Delta that boasts "Overhead Movies" in economy as a feature on some of its transatlantic flights. Nova and Odyssey users, think yourselves lucky...

Which routes are offering this? I've flown Delta into Atlanta A LOT and never ever experienced this. In fact, I've found Delta to be a very good airline over the years.

How strange.

Maybe a last minute plane change?

I'd rather an old plane than no plane !

Granted, but it is trumpeted as a "feature" on the Delta website. I just wanted to make the point that the grass isn't always greener....(though the BusinessElite deal seems pretty good to me :) )

They do mention it on their website in economy. I don't have a problem with that, they are not hiding it.

Business Elite looks pretty decent.

All airlines are 'at it' - feature the most upto date seats etc even if it only applies to a few planes etc. At least DL are more honest about the seats / ife on a particlar flight within their booking engine.

And yes Business Elite is pretty good !

Now the DL BOS offer expires on the 4th. Now do I ask my new boss on Friday (my 1st day) for time off or wait until Monday?

Yes - when it gives you the flight options on times / prices etc it is right up there - seat maps, IFE, wifi etc so you can see before you book.

No not strange at all. The 767-300er's that DL ply across the Atlantic on certain routes do not have the Avod IFE. It is only the 764's, select 757's and 330's that have the AVOD IFE across the Atlantic. At least that was the case the last time I looked and would imagine it still is given the large number of 767's DL have and the amount of time a refit takes etc.

I am genuinely surprised to hear this.

imagine booking a PE fare from LGW or MAN based on all the VS advertising and not getting the same thing, or even being told through out the booking process or if offered as an upgrade from Y still be shown a different product, that would be naughty....
good job VS don't do this....

Ah but Delta tell you in advance what service you will get. Even allowing for last minute aircraft changes (which could affect Virgin etc.) I think they are very upfront. Retro is in anyway. ;-)
