Hello,

So tomorrow if my first visit to the LHR CH. I'm so excited, having read so much about it from all of you and the TR's I've read. It's also my first UC flight so super excited!

On to the point of my post, my checklist of things to do tomorrow are:

- When arriving, first thing to do is register for a massage in the hope that one is available.

- Get some lunch, check out the famous clubhouse burger!

- Spend time in the galley area behind the bar with a nice champage mojito.

I suppose the question is, have I missed something major that all the v-flyers would recommend as an 'essential' activity for a CH first-timer?

Thanks!

Luke :D

As above
Plus
1.Pack swimmies (you'll need them in Vegas anyway as the weather is fab!! ) and take a dip in the hot tub (and get photos). Nobody ever believes me when I say the LHR CH has a hot tub :D .
2. Roof garden if it's open (the smell of aviation fuel...aahhhh).
Safe trip :) .

Post a 'Hello from the CH' thread

Have your shoes polished (if wearing proper ones that is)

Grab a handful from the sweet selection (near the pool table/library)

If its open take a quick look at the sky garden

Above all ENJOY !

The water feature that has not been on for months :-( wonder if it got broken same time a load of Y gate crashed and smashed the 3D tv? (That was replaced with the old tv, 2D kind) v(

Edit: saying that, it wasn't working before either :P

Thanks for this thread- we will be experiencing the CH in June for the first time and are very much looking forward to it! With our flight being at 9pm, will we be too late in the the day to get in for some treatments? (I wil need plenty of beautification to be presentable, my wife considerably less).

During the snow disruption, a gang of pax descended on the CH forced their way in and smashed things up, police etc involved. I don't understand why people would do something like that, as I expect they are banned from all BAA airports now and VS flights.

First I've heard of it - not even a court case.

I forgot to post it when I was told, CH memeber of staff told me after I asked where the 3D TV had gone. This thread reminded me for some reason.

I would of thought VS would just let the police deal with the pax, I think most got arrested. I can't see why VS would bother going to court over a TV that they probably didn't spend very much on if anything. Other bits that got damaged were starting to look tired anyway, and with rumblings of a CH refresh soon, why bother.

I didn't mean a specific VS prosecution but a Police / Crown Prosecution Service one

Oh.. B)

I don't know then, maybe there was a lot of sympathy because of the delays/cancellations?

The moment they charged in is the moment when any sympathy they did have evaporated!

What next? 'Big boys made me do it'
