3 x New York One-way using miles in UC

Hi,

I'm looking to use miles to book 3 one-way tickets to NY in UC next July (2012). We will be returning on the Queen Mary 2.

We are looking to fly out approx one week before the 6th July (our return date), and can be quite fliexible in regards to dates i.e.preferably anything between 29th June and 1st July.

I'm aware that these flights won't be available to book until this August, but from experience can anybody let me know if these are likely to be available to book at this time using miles?

Any thougts would be helpful.

Providing you can be a little flexible with your dates and which actual flight you go out on, I would imagine you should be able to bag 3 G's to NYC, simply due to the number of flights each day.

Regarding when the seats will become available, usually we used to say that look and book straight away, and whilst that is still the general advise, it seems that VS aren't necessarily releasing the reward seats straight away like they used to. So, it will just be a matter of looking from the first day the flights become available, and then keep looking daily until you find some that suit.
