First off; Hello! I'm new here, apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I figured being part of the Virgin Group this was the right place to share this story about Virgin Oceanic. A new deep-sea research initiative spearheaded by SRB.

As a PhD student studying deep-sea biology I'm very impressed with Virgin's initiative to sponsor such a programme to further our understanding of the deep sea. Must admit I'm a tad disappointed to not see any UK researchers involved though.
What do you guys think of this latest project? Makes me wonder what they're going to do next; Virgin Volcanic, Virgin Historic?
