Long Haul pilots falling asleep!!!!!!!

Scaremongering by a union to try and prevent increased productivity IMO.

Oh, and I bet if you asked any profession that has a demanding job at least 1 in 5 would profess tiredness from time to time.

I would imagine the main reason for them falling asleep on long haul flights would be mind numbing boredom and not fatigue. Once in the cruise the next 8 to 12 hours must be hell.

Many on here moan about IFE failures and lack of choice etc etc, imagine what it's like up the pointy end with nothing more than endless rows of instruments to look at.

It is also a matter of fatigue due to lack of proper rest & sleep due to multiple changing time zones.
