JB have their own terminal and very nice it is too.
we joined a short Q and were soon being checked in by freindly GC. Bags deposited on belt we headed to security . Horrors - we were greeted with a smile

Airside is very clean and bright with free decent wifi and a fair array of shops. we wandered down to the gate where there was adequate seating and were shortly boarding. we had priority as I had paid $30 each for the extra leg room seats.
the plane was an A320 with full leather seats that were easily as good as VS PE. as we sat there a lady with a small child and armfuls of gear was boarding. The PILOT helped her. yes the PILOT ! he couldnt have been nicer settling her in her seat, saying not to panic or worry about holding people up as 'we arent going till I say so' he then welcomed other PAx on board with a geniune smile as as the doors closed came on the PA to welcome everyone ,thank them for flying JB and give flight time and weather conditions.
a LOt of his competititors could learn PR from this guy.
Flight time was 2.30 during which we enjoyed free 36 channel live TV (Direct TV via satellite) with the option of pay on demand movies. superb IFE.
Also free snacks and drinks (and as my son pointed out you got a full size can of drink not those silly little ones).
on landing at Fort Myers the cabin door popped open and we were bid farewell and wished a great day by the happiest pilot ever.
RSW is a great airport, we walked a few minutes to bag claim then another 100 yards straight into the garage which holds the car hire and jumped into our Hertz car in less time than it took to move 5 yards at JFKs immigration - well we did delay for 2 minutes to perform an impromptu strip down from jeans to shorts in the parking lot

in short this is the sort of airline others should aspire to be. If only immigration wasnt so bad in NY i would do this trip every time especially now JB have linked with VS and I could check bags all the way through.
5 stars to JB
