Hi guys,

We (2 adults & 2 children) are flying PE MAN to MCO on Wednesday. We are flying on one of the new planes. I have 'reserved' seats 24 & 25 H & K and intend to do OLCI for the first time.

My question is this, at OLCI are we able to book rows 18 & 19 H & K (or any row 18 seats) or are row 18 all exit seats and therefore we can't book those we having children with us?

Many thanks,

Ali :D

I think row 18 is a bulkhead rather than an exit row - although ISTBC on that. Either way, exit rows/bulkheads are only available for allocation at the airport, they do not become available at OLCI stage.

If it is an exit row however, it will depend on how old your children are, as there is a minimum age required to sit in an exit row seat I believe.

Thanks,
Neil

Depending what plane type usually (on the 340-600) row 18 is blocked and only allocated at the airport as it is bulk head.
However I am not sure what this new plane is like.

Many thanks for the speedy replies.

Our girls are 7 & 5. I think I would rather do OLCI and stick with the back rows rather than risk waiting until we get to the airport (putting aside the issue of children!).

Thanks again y)

I am pretty certain, at that age they wouldn't be allowed in an exit row.

Just so you know, you can still do OLCI and then move to a different row if available when you get to the airport. It is always worth doing OLCI to ensure you have some seats together that you are happy with.

Thanks,
NEil
