WE booked our holiday way back in feb last year then saved our seats as soon as we could.Today when i checked my booking they have gone.I phoned virgin they say we have not got any seats booked. As the holiday is for a special occasion we upgraded to premium ecconemy as we really wanted to go in the bubble i know the seats were only a request but the aircraft has not changed but the time has.We are going to montingo bay this saturday. Is there anyway we can get our resserved seats back before on line check in.Thank you for reading and any help you can give us. ?| :)

Check a few hours before OLCI opens as more seats will be released then. The front part of the bubble has been set aside for VH passengers but these can be released very early before then. Keep on checking if none have been released and be sure to do OLCI at least 13 hours before the flight to secure them

It may be that you have been moved to 75 A& C, or H & K. ;)

These are exit row seats. The check in staff just have to see you to know that you are physically able to operate the exit row door in an emergency.

This happened to us when we flew back from MCo in Feb.

Glad you got the seats! :)

If you make changes to your holiday like name/hotel etc. It resets all the data you have entered on the v-a.com site including choosing your seat. We had the same issue when we changed out name to full name in december. ;(

The VS system of communication for aircraft type changes isn't very customer orientated - it's a bit of "look and see" - I regularly check my flights and often find changes i.e. seats moved etc - it's just a quirky part of the system.

Main thing is you've got the seats you want - have an amazing trip and can't wait for the trip report!
