EWR clubhouse

Off to NYC again next month - I was wondering if anyone has seen the refurbished EWR CH yet?

How does it/did it compare to the JFK lounge - i.e. is there a full table service menu, bar etc?

hi i have just flown j from ewr on the vs002 as a passenger (novel for me i know!) and had the oppertunity to use the new lounge it looks lovely, very modern and comfy seats. It also has a snug with a massive tv where you can watch a film!

the service in there is a hot buffet, and very nice it is too. choices were soup, salad, chicken strogonoff or salmon with rice or vegetables. there was also ny cheesecake and a cheese board. they also do a lovely margareta!

i should also point out that it is still landside, which for me is ideal (being a dirty smoker!)

all in all a great experience and lovely staff.

they serve drinks at your seat and the staff make regular walk rounds so you wont go thirsty!

there is wifi but no treatments and the staff are good. Not a lounge to get to early (like you would the CH) but a nice place to spend an hour or two,
