I always wear the same belt when I fly as it doesn't set off the metal detectors, so one less thing to do post security. However, the TSA didn't like that as they could see it on the body scanner, along with the $1 bill I forgot to take out of my pocket. The TSA agent asked me to take off my belt and put my wallet in the tray, to which I looked a little confused as I said I already put in through the X-Ray machine.
After I did that, he pat down my pockets and swabbed my hands, so not a full pat down. His signals were a little confusing as each time he checked a pocket it appeared he was done, but in fact was not.
Interestingly enough, they either didn't care or didn't catch the liquids (deodorant and medicine) I forgot to bag. So good job TSA, really catching everything there, as I'm sure my belt and $1 bill were a big threat requiring a pat down....
After all that, I arrived at the gate. Boarding was late yet again, and once I got on, there was no space to store my carry on, but luckily since it was a soft sided bag I managed to get it to fit under my seat. My seat, 23A, was taken by someone, but I decided not to say anything as 23C was free. I ended up sitting next to a Brit on his way back to London.
Takeoff was an hour late at 16:21, and landing was about 30 minutes late. I was off the plane quickly and on my way out of the airport
