Hello from the SFO Hilton. Not sure its the best, but it's OK and I have wonderful views of the airport ;) . I actually think they're all much of a much. The Hilton is probably the furthest away though (10 mins in the shuttle bus).

I frequently scored the Hyatt Regency at SFO on Priceline. I really liked the hotel but its downside is that it charges for internet access.

In the past I also scored the Westin (nearest to the airport, but a bit dated) and the Sheraton which is now the Hilton which is what I've booked rather than Priceline for my trip in July.

Slinky, when it was the Sheraton the wall in Reception used to change colour. Is that still there?

I would avoid the Hampton Inn. Stayed there last week and not good.

Seems as though reception has had a make over unfortunately ... not sure if it was a great one, but no changing colour walls!

I chose it because I'm Hilton Diamond, so get all the bens, and the club lounge here is pretty good and very well provisioned. Of course as Gold or Diamond HHonors you get free WiFi too.

I'm afraid I'm just a lowly Hilton pebble in the HH program :| but I chose it because when I stayed there as a Sheraton they had fee WiFi in the public areas and according to the Hilton website they have retained it. I have pleasant memories of quaffing G&Ts (I always have pleasant memories of quaffing G&Ts ): ) and surfing the net. :D

And it just so happens to be right opposite Kincaid's, and, well, maybe that's also why HL chose it. There are worse places to imbibe in that area, that's for sure.

Indeed! I rapidly realised I had fortuitously selected this hotel before realising it was the bar Marked Man had introduced me to last year :D

Drinkies, MM? :D

I loved it last year (and I also love Marked Man for pointing out the last bottle of T10 on a VS flight 2 years ago and insisting I finish it :o) )

I used to feel sick looking at that wall at check-in when it was Sheraton !
