Having just done OLCI for tomorrows VS27, the seat map title states it is a 747-400 seating Configuration 1, which iirc is a LHR plane?

However the actual pictorial seating image shows a 747-400 seating config 2 according to seatguru ?

Any ideas how to confirm - save looking when i get on the plane?

Have looked at the database showing planes flying this route and would guess it would be seating config 2 according to the history of planes having flown this route over the last few days.

It should be clear of it is an LHR a/c or not. They have a much larger UC and PE cabin, and upstairs is a mix of UC and Y where as all of the LGW fleet are just PE upstairs.

Expert flyer is showing an LGW/MAN config with PE upstairs.

Not sure if it's config 1 or 2 but there isn't a huge difference, def not an LHR plane from this.

i am sure it will be a LGW plane, just strange that the seat map in the booking contradicts itself, although should be used to that with VS :-)

Chumba, you are much more observant than me |:) as I checked in for the same flight and didn't even notice.

Miss sunshine has lost her seat though that we had reserved since January so I have taken the best of what's left.

See you onboard :D

That's what made it even
More confusing seat guru says only
Config 1 have PE seat power which made me think it might be a LHR plane

I think seat gurus configs differ from VS in that their 1 is VS 4 /2 is 3 etc.

anyways far more important -Florida is absolutely gorgeous right now for y'all (I am becoming a local :-) ) last night we ate out and it was still 80+ at 10pm . this morning walking the dogs just after 7 it was already way over 70 and beautiful. hope chumbas and sunshine have a great time
