Travelex is giving $1.63 today. Will pick them up at the airport

$1.659 today at some of the online exchange sites. I use http://www.travelmoneymax.com for a comparison. Wish I had some spare cash to stock up!

This is great news; climbing nicely in time for our Florida trip in May. Plus it's going to help take the sting out of the visit to the Apple store in the Mall at Millennia. Now...is it 11in MacBook Air or 13in MacBook Pro...?

The exchange rate was so good last week that I got some dollars for my forthcoming trip

I always use my debit card in the States and get a far better rate even on cash machines, I only take enough dollars to get me into NY OR Orlando. When the rate here was 1.38 to the pound I got 1.44 over there, Charged only 2.50 per transaction.

Looks like the rate has gone south again, getting offered $1.58/£1 today.
