Hi All

Has anybody used the Club America clubhouse in Miami? We are flying to Miami in May and I see from Virgin's website if you are travelling upper you can use it. We upgraded our economy seats to upper using our miles which we have been saving for ages. I’m looking forward to a Cowshed treatment at Heathrow and the flight but wondered what facilities were available in Miami. Any suggestions to make the most of the experience would be gratefully received.

Sadly the Club America lounge at MIA is a bit barren, soul less, and poor. But it's quiet and spacious.

Make the most of the LHR clubhouse!

Oh the joy that is the Club America lounge... It's nothing like the LHR Clubhouse, but is still a much nicer place to be than the rest of the terminal, though it is an improvement on the old land side lounge.

Expect soup and dry sandwiches. Though normally some OK nibbles.

I wouldn't say it is always quiet, when I have been it's been quite full, and normally a lot of children (nothing wrong with children, but in my experience they make a bit more noise than adults). Nothing much to look at due to the lack of windows.

Good plan Diane - MIA airport is terrible. I was flying PE so no lounge for my return last October - there was 1 toiler for the entire departure lounge, burger king a couple of coffee places.

The lounge will be a vast improvement on the rest, arrive as late as poss!
