MAXjet Airways Completes FAA Certification
DULLES, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 23, 2005--Today MAXjet Airways, Inc.
("MAXjet") received effective authority from the Department of
Transportation ("DOT") to commence scheduled international passenger
service.
Lawrence Fields, FAA Regional Division Manager, presented MAXjet's Air
Carrier Certificate in person at MAXjet's Washington Dulles Headquarters on
August 12, 2005.
MAXjet plans to begin charter operations immediately. Scheduled passenger
service will begin later this year with flights initially planned between
New York's John F. Kennedy Airport and London's Stansted Airport; other
routes from east coast cities to London will follow.
Gary Rogliano, MAXjet's Chief Executive Officer, is "very proud of the
MAXjet team's efforts." He commended the FAA and the DOT for their
"excellent teamwork" in reaching the goal of MAXjet's certification.

The airline will soon announce scheduled routes, fares and schedules and
begin accepting passenger bookings.
MAXjet is based at Washington Dulles Airport with operational facilities at
both New York's JFK Airport and London's Stansted Airport. MAXjet operates
Boeing 767 aircraft.
