LHR Aircraft change.

Just a quick question...

I'm travelling with my partner flying PE from LHR/EWR/LHR VS001/002 June 2nd/June 7th. I booked the flight 6 weeks ago and the a/c seat plan was the 744 config but now i just decided to check my seats again and the a/c has now changed to a A340/6. Do a/c changes happen often and why the change and could it change again? Luckily i still have a window seat both ways!

They happen occasionally for operational reasons. It could change again.

Be warned windows seats on the A340-600 have the IFE box under the seat in front and therefore restrict legroom!
