Had a quick search but couldn't find anything. We are flying EK out of MAN T1, through PP we have access to our choice of Wilmslow, Bollin or Escape lounges.

What's the collective opinion on any of these? Which to go for?

Thanks!

Honestly my advice would be to change airline, Hubby and I had 3 truly awful flights with EK last year as a part of our honeymoon and given an option I would NEVER set foot on one of their flights again n( n( n( n( The service from the CC was all but non-existent and when they did see fit to deal with passangers you ended up wishing they hadn't as they just seemed to make things worse.

So sorry to put a downer on things but they have such a high reputation for service that we were left very disappointed and it did tarnish our whole Honeymoon experience :( :( :( the One & only upside was the seats were very comfy.

I don't have many choices really - since VS cut the route and BA only fly 3 times a week (and not the days I want/need to fly), my other remaining option would be MK and judging by what I've read on FT it wouldn't be much better than EK!

First time I've used them, so will see how it is. My dad has silver status with them so he obviously finds it OK. Looking forward to flying on the A380. :)

Hope all goes well and you have a good experience with EK.

If it's for you Dubai flight the whatever happens Dubai itself will more than make up for it we loved it there, so much so that Hubby is on the lookout for a tranfer out there with work :D

Thanks Mrs Rae. Yes, we are going back to our favourite hotel, the Hilton Dubai Creek. :) Just stopping the one night en route for a bit of sleep, shopping and sunbathing!

I have heard some lovely things about Hilton Dubai Creek but as we were on our Honey moon we didopted for 4 nights @ the Hilton Ras-al-Khaimah and then 2 nights @ Atlantis before heading off to the Maldives for a week :D :D

If you are heading out there for longer in the future I would HIGHLY reccomend giving Ras-Al-Khaimah a try as the service was incredible as was the food and the private beach well OMG!!! we saw so many dolphins playing out there and I even had a turtle swimming along beside me at one point y) y) y) we will definately be going back there one day. Atlantis was a whole other world lol but sooo expensive that it really was a once-in-a-lifetime place for us (unless we win the lottery :D )

Thanks for the tip about the Hilton Ras-Al-Khaimah - I have seen it advertised at really competitive prices before so it might be worth keeping in mind for the future. Is it expensive to get there from DXB?

I would love to stay at Atlantis - I agree it'll probably just be a one-off short stay thing! Last time we went to Dubai, we visited just to look around and see the aquarium, etc.

Getting back on topic, I did a bit of a Google search and it looks like the Escape lounge will be the one to go for.

Sorry to have wandered off topic hun, glad you have made a decision on the lounge we didn't bother when we flew from LHR.

The trip from DXB to Ras-Al-Khaimah is about an hour and half and we had transfers included so didn't really have to worry about it so I'm afraid I can't really help on the cost but it is not an unpleasant journey, we saw loads of wild roaming camels lol.
