Hmmm might be tempted to try it instead of the tube seeing as its pretty easy to get from Kings Cross to Paddington...anyone know if there is a lift at Paddington though?

I recommend trying Heathrow Express at least once. It's so quick, and so nice! Just as you start to get comfortable it's time to get off!

I just can't decide. Tube only 8 quid including my travel around London for the day. Plus it means having to change more often. Decisions decisions

IMHO the Heathrow Express is not good value for money far too expensive for what it is. Though if you can get it for 1/2 price then go for it.

Otherwise take the Heathrow Connect service - only 10 mins longer but less than 1/2 the price of the Express £ 8.50 compared to £ 18.00 single)

I agree! Heathrow Express is WAY overpriced! But it is nice to try if you've never taken it. And at half price, you can't really go wrong!

On most occasions, I take the Piccadilly Line.
