I fly out to SFO on August 20th, so I know that will be the (still to be revealed) Summer UC menu but I fly back, from LAX, on the evening of Sunday September 4th. Will the menus have changed to Autumn by then, or do they change at the start of the first full week i.e. the day after I come home?
TIA
GC
p.s. this time in 13 weeks I'll be upstairs in the bubble for first time in UC.
p.p.s. Actually I'll probably be sitting at the bar!

I remember you already asking the same question before. :)

On your flight back it could be either menu - time will tell. It usually changes in the first week of September but the exact date has always varied. Guessing which menu you will get will give you something to look forward to.

Sorry Tink, yes I did ask before but nobody answered. TBH not knowing does panic me (long story, silly to those who don't know) so I just wanted to know if possible ahead of time.

Now I feel bad that you think you didn't help, but you did. I guess I'll be guided by when the summer menu starts i.e. 1st June (a Wednesday) or the start of the following week.
Sorry for bleating on and putting your back up Tink, I'll be quiet from here on in.

Just remember that not that long ago the first people knew what the meal was would be when the CC announced what it was when they were about to come and serve the awaiting pax (who were all watching the same film from the overhead TVs!)

I know exactly what you mean about wanting to know in advance what the food is going to be on board. I use to write to the airlines in advance in the 80s and 90s and ask, more often than not they would reply with what was going to be on board.

Don't be quiet on here - ask away as much as you like that is what the forum is about and look out for details of the new menu next week.

Thanks

Jon

Thanks for the kind words Jon. I know I have issues and they are irrational but thought on a forum its safe to ask my silly questions. Now think I might just lurk quietly again for a bit.
