Something odd appears to be happening with MBNA this month at least;
My account shows that May's statement has generated (yesterday or the day before - the statement date is "May", which technically isn't a date) but I haven't had the usual email from them.
Also, on the date the statement generates the miles usually appear on my FC account dated the exact same date - so far nothing.

I think I'll give it a few more days....

A couple of years back mbna did the same where points were added and others had points deducted, it did work out in the end but like someone else in this thread I really needed these points and had reserved some G,s which have expired and I will probably lose out because off this.

Literally an hour after posting above - just had an email from MBNA saying my Credit Card statement is available to view!

I'll see if this triggers the miles transfer to my FC account.

I have had an e-mail from VS Flying Club Customer Services who say they are now looking in to this (or for me anyway)
They say that miles should be posted within 5 days of the statement being produced.
If anyone else has had a wait over 5 days for your credit card miles it may be worth e-mailing them on the address below

Hi

I'm in the same situation. Miles appear on MBNA Amex statement on 16th month, but nothing on my FC. Spoke to MBNA who say 'we sent them' and spoken to Virgin who got me to file a report

Same issue for me.... sent a msg using the secure message service in my MBNA account, usually its like clockwork but not this month! Doh!

Will leave it a few more days then will call VS.

Just spoke to MBNA who were actually very helpful. Was put on hold for a few minutes while the agent specifically checked with the "team that deals with the miles" and she came back explaining that they can take up to 5 working days. I then explained that every month without fail my miles get credited pretty much on the identical date as my statement date. She understood my point and has said she'll personally ring me this time next week to check that they have arrived :-) There is also a query on my account so that this doesn't slip through the net.

OK I have still not got my miles but at least I feel 'listened to'!

I've also got a live issue being tracked with VS (with a tracking ref) but no joy on that whatsoever since being issued with the tracking ref a few days ago.

From what you're all saying in this thread there is clearly a glitch this month!

my miles have appeared this morning in my FC account albeit took 15 extra days from the normal date they appear.

Bingo! Just checked my FC account and the miles have been credited from MBNA despite being told a couple of days ago it would take 7 days :)

This thread has prompted me to check our FC accounts. Husband and myself also have missing miles from May's V-Amex cc statements. They have always been very prompt before - never had a problem. Will send a secure message if not credited by 1st June.

Whilst I ended up getting mine credited, albeit very late, t'other half Steve is now lacking his v( I wonder what the problem is, I also have an MBNA BMI Mastercard and those miles were credited like clockwork last week on the same say the MBNA statement was issued?

Those who have still not received I would strongly suggest a quick call to MBNA/FC, as my call today has resulted in a sudden balance credit....now that is a coincidence :w

Just to say I was taken aback last night when MBNA rang me to follow up on my call to them a while back when chasing the missing miles. It was a courtesy call from the actual person I'd spoken to checking that my miles has been successfully credited. She added that the cause of the problem was Virgin FC failing to apply the miles & that the miles had left MBNA as they always do the statement date. All in all a good ending :)
