The web host has, apparently, moved us to a totally seperate application pool and are going to be monitoring the site. Fingers crossed things should start to improve ;)

Just got:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0113'

Script timed out

/forum/topic.asp

The maximum amount of time for a script to execute was exceeded. You can change this limit by specifying a new value for the property Server.ScriptTimeout or by changing the value in the IIS administration tools.

This was after clicking "Active Topics". The page began to load, but straight after the Active Lookup bar came the error and the page stopped there. Clicking AT again worked fine.

Well, the whole thing fell over totally today. After much discussion with the web host, it's now back up.

Although it looks the same, the database back end for the forum has now be replaced with a MS SQL server (a bit of an upgrade from the Access database...) However, certain things may crawl out of the wood work, so if you get any odd errors (especially database ones) - please post them here so I can go bug hunting.

Part of the problem has been that the old forum Access database had grown to over 100MB, and that's really not advisable ;)

One of the most intensive parts of the site is the online availability tool. Since we have the V-Tool to do that now, and ExpertFlyer for even more comprehensive searches, I'm going to disable the online version for the sake of site resources.
