Thank you for the TR Neil, very informative - now very intrigued about the toilets!

I have just been to Orlando and back on the 330 in PE, out on 21st May and returned on 25th and on both legs of the trip was told that the toilets at the front of the cabin were for crew use only. On the outward leg I did notice that some elderly and passengers who needed assistance were using the front toilets. I have no problem with this as these are just observations, and I had no problem with long queues for the toilets at the back of the PE cabin.

I will try and get round to a trip report but one thing I noticed were seatbelt airbags, a first for me.

Surely this is a given the confusing queuing system for the other toilets.

I flew on this plane in PE on 13th May. Front toilet was working but crew were encouraging passengers to use the ones at the back of the PE cabin.

I agree with Neil's trip report - the PE seats are cramped and when the person in front of me reclined I had very little room. I too prefer the bubble.

I have to agree with Neil having flown on the A330 in March/April. To me the seat pitch is not even close to the bubble on the 747 and being a large(okay fat) guy its a struggle. The number of times the trolley bashed into seats was alarming the aisles are narrow even for the experienced flight crew. The seats are hard(new?) and the food ....poor. If this is the upgraded version of PE i wouldnt bother its not worth the extra over economy. As i travel to Florida often its the VS74 for me in the bubble ...otherwise back to economy.

Totally agree with your comments regarding the new A333, we flew MAN-MCO May 5th returning MCO-MAN June 5th.(G-VSXY) We were PE,seated in 24A & 24C both ways. Having flown only on the 747 both in the bubble and at the rear of UC on the last 5 trips it was really a bit of a let down.
However, the IFE is excellent.the food was very good, especially the new breakfast, choice of omelette or a mixed grill -soooo much better than those horrible sweet luke-warm sickly bagels !!!
Well, only 145 days to next trip MAN-MCO, PE on A333 24A & C seats, returning 747 up in the bubble in row 77, I'm sure it will be fine?!!

With the current LGW 747 PE seat map fiasco, I wouldn't count on it just yet
