I've got an existing ESTA from a trip to LA last October, do I need to re-register the new trip details for my flight/stay in LA next week, or will my existing ESTA registration details do?

Hello

The existing ESTA details will be fine, i've not had to change my ESTA and i've been to different places in the US each time.

Yes the existing details will be ok - as long as your passport details have not changed your existing ESTA is still valid (and will be for 2 years from the date of application and as long as your passport has 2+ years to run, otherwise it expires when your passport does if yoru passport has less than 2 years left).

It is recommended but not compulsory to update ESTA with flight and accomodation details. In anycase the US Authorities will have this information from your APIS
