Hi, there I'm new to all this so please forgive me if its wrong to type here. Just stumbled across this webpage a few days ago and its fantastic. Well Done. Great thing is I was trying to find out what plane we was on when we travelled to Barbados from Gatwick 16-10-10 and returned 30-10-10. I did find some flight history on here but they only went back a few months. After reading some info on here, I am sure it was the VPORT type?
The info on here really is very useful and I much appreciate it. Also we recently booked to fly to Barbados from Manchester in feb 2012 but was given a 7 digit booking reference and am unable to manage my booking on the Virgin Site (it just says there working on a fantastic new system) Does anybody know when it will be fixed?

Kind Regards
Mike

Welcome to the site - for your flight history, have a look at LHR-LGW.co.uk as that has historical data going back many years.

Thanks,
Neil

Thanks Neil what a quick reply. Thanks to you and that website I have found out we flew out on G-VHOT Tubular Belle and returned on G-VFAB Lady Penelope. Which I see are both the VPORT type. Thanks. Much appreciated

Hi - thanks for the link to LHR-LGW.co.uk

It looks as if it could be really useful. However, it delivers
.mht files - err - what do I do with those?

.mht is a lesser used web page format. They should open with most web browsers such as Firefox or Internet Explorer, I have never opened one up on my iMac, but I would assume it would work with Firefox there.

Thanks Ken

I've tried Firefox, and mostly see what I assume is a lot of HTML code. I tried Chrome as well - no luck

Pity - it looked as if it could be an interesting site....

I looked up Explorer for Mac, and apparently Microsoft stopped supporting it in 2003

Once again a big thanks too Neil for his almost immediate response and also for introducing me and others to a great site. Just to go off topic, I recently started working at MAN and today got to see some workmen with some furnishings for the new virgin lounge. :)

That would be the VRoom which is owned by Virgin Holidays rather than Virgin Atlantic

Thanks Alex

You're right - Opera does work with this site. However, I'm still 'out anoraked' with the data (there doesn't seem to be any introductions, or help on the site)

For Example, on 1st April I see

BAW26 BA026 GBNLT B744 VHHH 351 535 27L

So the first two columns are the flight number, then the aircraft registration, they flight type, then, err destination in 4 fig code? Then 351 (am) as the time, then, err, expected time? - then runway...

Could someone confirm?

Thanks Peter
