Hello again to you lovely folk. I am still reading and learning here, wonderful stuff, thank you.

I have now booked our flights UC from LHR to SFO and very happy.

Thanks to info on here l set out to purchase internal flights from SFO to LAS with Virgin America.

Went right through the procedure and clicked to purchase. Unfortunately after a few minutes a notice came up to say that they could not process and advised to call Virgin America.

Sooo, l called Seattle and got through to a very helpful guy who actually took me through the booking process again and indeed booked my flights.
He told me that l would receive an email confirming this booking.
I have not received an email confirmation to date. But on logging in to My Booking with VA l see that l have a confirmation reference number and all appears to be good.
I am quite happy with this, but just need to check with you experts that this is all in order.

Thanks Again

Once you have a booking reference and can get into My Booking you have nothing to worry about. It is possible that your email address was wrongly entered by them. I had this problem with VS some years back when they had taken my email service provider as "aircom" instead of "eircom" in spite of my spelling it to them

if you can access the booking online then you are OK. just check the email address linked to the booking and have it resent to you if you want one.

I found my email confirmation took 24 hours to come through from virgin America when I booked mine in February.

Glad you have a good trip planned, having very recently used VX on the LAS-SFO route I'm confident you will be impressed by the service and experience!

To the OP: This applies to VX Elevate members but I think any passenger using the VX website can get online assistance if you have trouble getting an e-mail confirmation. VX has an online help via chat. I've had the same problem as you, where I did not get an e-mail confirmation on a recent booking. I went back to the VX website and their online chat assistant fixed the problem right away and was able to get an e-mail confirmation within a few minutes.

EGG

From my vantage point right now of seat 1D on VX 797 LAX-SEA, I can say you will definitely love it. Food and drink are complementary, but you do have to pay $10 for the in-flight wifi from gogointernet so you can keep up to date with V-Flyer y)

Cheers from 34,000 feet.
