I got a little bit excited today... Received an envelope through the door with the VA logo on it... I opened it and it read:

"Dear Ross, I'd like to tell you about what I consider to be one of the best products we've ever developed at Virgin Atlantic Airways...."

Quite exciting I thought.... Then the next line...

"It's the Virgin Atlantic Black American Express Credit Card from MBNA"

I think that says it all. Virgin Atlantic have admitted one of their best products isn't actually anything to do with Virgin Atlantic whatsoever. Great.

I'm really getting sick of these fake Amex cards from Virgin. I must get about 5 a year through the door. There's no way to stop them either, short of stopping all Flying Club communication. Why don't they get the picture!! I must have had over 10 of these applications through the door! What a waste.

Do what I do with any junk-mail I receive; stuff it all in the pre-paid envelope that it comes with and just post it all back to them.

It probably wont achieve anything but at least it does make you feel better!!

It took some creative folding, but I've managed to fit it all in to the prepaid envelope to send off tomorrow! You're right, I do feel better!

Maybe I should address it to Flying Club ):

Done that before as well and yes it does make you feel better. My wife also had a cruise flyer through lots of typos so she red penned the spelling mistakes and sent it back :D

Prize for best post of the day :D .

They don't actually, as I've received a couple of those plastic fake VS cards, even though I already have the proper black VS Amex card!!
