Vs website down

Been trying to book some flights this morning but the vs site is down.

Anyone know when it's likely to be back up assuming it was a planned activity

Seems to be back up now but it's completely pants to be down during a working day. Symptomatic of VS's IT woes ...

They have added info onto the FC account page where your points are.

If your tier membership year ends on or before 31 August 2011, you will require 30 tier points to retain gold membership or 10 tier points to retain silver membership.
If your tier membership year ends on or after 01 September 2011, you will require 40 tier points to retain gold membership or 15 tier points to retain silver membership.

Well, it's struggling now, just about grunting and moaning to load a page ... oh dear.

Dont think Virgin's Website or IT Woes or down to Virgin Staff based at Crawley.
When i did a contract on site for this IT Supplier can remember this announcment.

Looks like it's messing around again. I can't retrieve my bookings based on my FC number, but can retrieve them using the booking reference.

Edit: And it's working again...

VS really are a 9-5 operation! Whatever they are doing, it needs to be completed in the early hours of the morning!

Unless the changes were made overnight but something went wrong - wouldn't suprise me!
