I don't know how much business there is from Cyprus connecting onto VS flights but more airline cooperation is always good!

From 25th July, VS will code-share on CY flights they have 2 or 3 flights a day between Heathrow and Larnaca.

This will allow easy single ticket journeys with through checked baggage and being checked in all the way though.

Thank you! E

Might be useful for some military folk - either that or US citizens heading to cruises ... can't think what else, but the VS code share / interlining team have been pretty busy recently.

They don't appear to be in an alliance, so no clues there :w .

Why would you want to hub through LHR from cyprus and be hit with the uk tax?
Odd codeshare? Or does the wider picture hint at a link in with medium haul routes and work with VH and the new A330's....

from the APD wiki page

The duty is not payable by inbound international passengers who are booked to continue their journey (to an international destination) within 24 hours of their scheduled time of arrival in the UK.

Nor does it apply to an onward domestic flight after an international flight but the timinsg are tighter.
