looking at my booking for my trip to NYC in January on the main page i have an option to upgrade my return ticket from economy to premium economy for £94

thinking that that is a fairly good price to upgrade an X class ticket i clicked on the link to have a closer look and was presented with this page

saying that the requested upgrade is no longer available.

being that i am quite happy sat at the back of the bus (as i have only ever flown long haul in Y before) but was tempted by this price to move up to the middle for the first time is it worth phoning customer services to ask why the computer system is not allowing me to upgrade one way and if this is still available or do i wait a bit longer and see what happens to the price ?|

as the flight is a long way off expert flyer is only showing the cheap fare codes starting to fill up.

would be interested in other peoples views on this.

Many Thanks

Personally Chris if your tempted I would.

Always worth 10 mins on the phone for a good deal :)

well just spoken to a very nice young lady at the call center who also thought that that was a good price.

I am now in PE for the return flight.
(that will do for my sisters Christmas present as it is her i am flying with)

I check mine almost daily! Sad but I like to see the countdown and don't trust. VS to keep seating requests, having seen them kick out man times! ii)

to be honest i look at my booking at least once a week to check i still have the window seat i have requested.

Tonty that is tempting but this way i don't have to spend hours going around a very busy West Quay shopping center (Southampton) searching for a gift so this was just the easy way.

would have been nice to get the price online rather than spend 15 mins on the phone to the call center

but yes I agree with a price like that it is a bargain ^) ^) y)
