VS7 747

Hi,
I was just looking at flight checker and noticed that G-VROC -Mustang Sally - is operating on the VS7 LHR to LAX route. Have never seen a 747 on the lax route is this permanent or just a one off?

Yes changed our seats on 13.06.11 to 4 in the middle was looking forward to another trip on 340

I fly on Wed 15. At the moment when I view the seatmap it still shows Airbus.
Hope it changes, would be nice to fly a 747 for the first time

The VS7 is due to be operated by a 744 from 9 June to 4 July (except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and daily from 5 July until 16 July.

Only in July.

I am on it in Aug and it is showing as a 360 !

You might be able to work it out from the flight schedules in the tool box but VS does not formally release details of the actual plane that undertakes a particular route in advance.

Intrestingly it looks like a 747 will be operating the VS7 from 25th March 2012 onwards. Not sure how long for as flights are currently only being sold up until 18/5/12 but every date I look at between 25/3 & 18/5 seems to be a 747.
